Silentel application

Silentel is a software application dedicated for installation to your mobile phone or personal computers (PCs, laptops).

To make a secure voice call, group conference or send secure text message, all you need is run Silentel application and select your partner from secured contact list.

Silentel application can run in a background of your mobile phone or PC. All your other applications, services (like standard contacts and calendar synchronization, navigation, camera and photos, etc.) and standard GSM calls are available without any limitations.

Secure voice communication

Enables voice communication between two participants (similar to standard telephone call) in a special, secured mode.

Prior to establish the call the application creates unique encrypting keys securing the connection. During the connection all information is transmitted in encrypted mode. Information is only decrypted on the side of the other partner. After the phone call has been finished, all encryption keys are deleted and your information will forever remain confident.

The call quality of secured communication is equal to the standard telephone call.

Secure text messages

Enables to send text messages with encrypted content, remaining confidential with the exemption of sender and receiver.

The content of the message is encrypted before sending. Just after the message has been delivered to the receiver, the content is decrypted. Exceed of the receiver, nobody can decrypt and read the message.

Secured managed conferencing

Enables to make a secured voice conference of two and more participants. In addition enabling each of the participants to send instant text and image messages.

The voice conference is made in half-duplex mode (just one participant can speak at a moment – the rest of them is listening to him/her). The applicaion displays the name of the participant who has taken the floor, or in other words, “was authorized to speak”. The application also make a possible to apply for a “right to speak” to other participants of the conference. The user who initiated the conference can interrupt a speaking participant anytime and take the floor.

The operation is secured in the similar way as in case of voice communication.

Secured contacts with user presence status

Silentel uses its own secure contact list, which is separated from the standard phone contact list. This contact list is protected and accessible only through Silentel application.

Silentel displays status information about every individual contact (online, away, do-not-disturb and offline).

Due to low amounts of transmitted data, Silentel can significantly reduce charges for voice services, even being used abroad in roaming (in foreign mobile network operators).
